[bsw] Social Work Scholarship

[Pamela Hammond]

The Department of Social Work has a small scholarship ($ 200) available
to award this spring for Outstanding Service/Leadership for one BSW and
one MSW student who will be enrolled in 2012-2013. BSW students must be
entering field this summer and MSW students must have completed at least
12 hours to be eligible.

If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else, please email me
what would justify your selection based on involvement with the social
work department or university (ie., social work student organization,
etc.), involvement in the community (church, service organizations,
volunteering), and the social work profession (membership in NASW,
attending the NASW conference, providing other service to the profession
outside of your field practicum(.

The recipient will be selected by a committee of Social Work faculty.
Honorees will be invited to attend a luncheon hosted by the Social Work
Department on April 26 where you will receive your award.

Please email me (Brenda_moore at tamu-commerce.edu) by Friday, April 6, 5
pm if you would like to be considered. Thanks!
