[bsw] Social Networking Social Work Student Research

[Pamela Hammond]

This is an invitation to participate in research.

As the use of social network sites have become more prevalent, exploring
how this social media is beneficial and /or detrimental to social work
programs, students and faculty is important.

To gain insight into this virtual environment, we are seeking
participation in a research study regarding the use of social networks
sites by social work faculty and students. We are seeking participation
from 200 accredited BSW and MSW programs of social work.

Participation requires the completion of an on-line anonymous
questionnaire. Please consider our request and forward the information
attached to your social work student list serve.

We appreciate your willingness to assist in this research project.

This study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board at Texas
A&M University-Commerce.
