[bsw] FW: BSW Scholarship

Dear BSW Students,

 

We have a small scholarship ($100) available to award this spring (end
of the semester) for Outstanding Service/Leadership.  If you would like
to nominate yourself or one of your peers, please email me with
information to justify your selection based on involvement with the
social work department or university (BSW student organization),
involvement in the community (church, service organization,
volunteering), and the social work profession (membership in NASW,
attending NASW conference, providing other service to the profession
outside of your field practicum).  

 

The recipient will be selected by a committee of Social Work Faculty.
The Honoree will be invited to attend a reception hosted by the College
of Education and Human Services at the end of April and will receive the
award.

 

The deadline to submit the application has been extended to Thursday,
April 1st, 5pm.  Please submit your application to me via email (
Sherry_Sheffield at tamu-commerce.edu).
