Subject: [Faculty & Staff] Legacy Scholarships Available

 

 

This is a reminder that the 2008-2009 application deadline for the Alumni
Association Legacy Scholarship is due March 1.

 

To be eligible for any of these Alumni Association scholarships, the student
must have a parent or grandparent who graduated from the university.
Commerce area students may also have a sister, brother, aunt, or uncle who
is a graduate of Texas A&M-Commerce.  Recipients will be contacted by August
1. The amounts of the scholarships are $500 (Commerce Chapter is $1,000),
with half being dispersed each semester of the award year. Students must
maintain a 3.0 GPA and be registered for 12 undergraduate credit hours or 9
graduate credit hours.

 

To be considered for a Legacy Scholarship, please complete the application
and return to Alumni Relations, Memorial Student Center, and Room 120.

Completed application materials are due by March 1.
