Paula called this evening.  She said Amanda had been asked to hold up
specific #'s of fingers and had responded correctly each time.  She also
appears to be trying to talk and can't.  They plan to replace the
tracheotomy with one which will better facilitate talking as soon as they
can take her off the ventilator.  Paula is very excited and thanks everyone
for their continued prayer support. Can someone be sure and send this
message to the BSW's?  Thanks, Patsy
