[bsw] FW: SW position - prn part-time

I work at Presbyterian Hospital of Allen (in Allen, Texas). I am off every
Wednesday. We have been using an agency SW to cover, but we are posting a
prn (part-time) position for a SW to work every Wednesday, from
approximately 8:30am to 5:00pm (hours can be flexible). I can also change my
day off to any day of the week, so if an applicant can't work on Wednesday,
I will switch to another weekday. This person would also need to be
available to fill in for me when I go on vacation, and I am willing to work
around the school schedule. The pay is good and the environment is decent.
We are looking for someone with hospital social work experience. There is
only one social worker for the entire (small) hospital. The prn SW works
from referrals for social services and discharge planning. The SW works very
closely with our Case Manager who is both knowledgeable and helpful. We
would like an MSW but will consider a BSW working on the MSW, if that person
has hospital SW experience.
