Clinical Manager/Director-Dallas Region (Dallas, Kaufman, and Hunt Counties)

Definition: (Brief Statement of Purpose): 
Providence's mission is to ensure the provision of accessible, effective,
high quality community-based counseling and social services (Child &
Adolescent and Adult) as an alternative to traditional institutional care. 

The Clinical Manager/Director, under the supervision of the Dallas Regional
Director, is responsible for the coordination and over-site of clinical and
administrative duties in the Dallas Region, including Dallas, Kaufman, and
Hunt Counties. He/She will maintain a part-time clinical caseload as well as
supervise clinical staff and perform administrative duties to ensure
organizational growth and quality service delivery. He/She provides primary
support to the Regional Director and may act as his/her designee. He/she
will perform related duties as required. Travel to the various counties
required with paid travel reimbursement. Full-time status with
benefits-medical/dental/vision and generous paid leave package. 

Qualifications: 
Master's degree in social work or related field with current Texas licensure
and management experience. Must have experience with NorthStar services and
have a proven record for accuracy, organization, timeliness, flexibility,
and dependability. Valid TX Driver's License and proof of insurance
required. Proof of education and credentials will be required prior to
employment.

Providence of Texas is currently seeking a Therapist to provide in-home
counseling services to families and youths involved with the Dallas County
Probation Department.     

Therapist must be able to work with a diverse population in different
environments. Therapist is responsible for assisting the family to identify
issues and develop an effective treatment plan focused on building upon
current strengths. Therapist provides individual, family and group therapy
to assist client and their family to increase functionality. Therapist works
with a case manager to assist with case management and community resource
services to client and family. 

To be considered one must have the following: 
 
*          Masters degree in counseling, social work or related field
eligible for temporary license
*          Previous experience working with at-risk or emotionally disturbed
adolescents and families 
*          Flexibility and willingness to grow and develop as a professional
