Subject: Chocolate Chip Cookies

Dear Brenda,

Since I didn't catch the name of the great student baker the other day, I
wonder if you would pass along my thanks for those delicious cookies that
you awarded us after our brief meeting with the BSW student organization?
Our office staff was thrilled, as were our student workers, and I enjoyed
the cookies as well. President's Office staff were equally pleased, and we
all abandoned our diets for that very special treat.

Please convey to the busy bee who made those great cookies our thanks and
appreciation. It's nice to have such a thoughtful surprise! Joyce
