Dear Art Student,

We are excited about the prospect of you becoming a Lion. We are invested in your success and the Department of Art has a long history of changing lives by encouraging students to attempt the impossible. Our alumni have exhibited in the some of the most prestigious museums and galleries in the world and work for some of the most respected advertising agencies. Our photography alumni are internationally known and have published in almost every major magazine in the country. It is time for you to commit to becoming a lion.

You have come a long way. You submitted your application. You turned in your transcripts and you are now accepted to the University. The big question is have you registered for orientation?

You can reserve your spot for an orientation session by logging into your myLEO<https://leo.tamuc.edu/> student account and selecting the "Orientation" tab. You will be asked to create a profile in the VZ reservation system and select an orientation session.

•  Wednesday & Thursday, August 12th & 13th ***

We are suggesting that you sign up for the June 12th and 13th orientation, which will include expanded participation by art faculty.

You can also check your financial aid status by logging on to you’re MyLeo account. Financial award notifications are currently only being sent to your MyLeo mail account. IT IS VERY IMPORTATANT THAT YOU CHECK YOUR MYLEO ACCOUNT AND PROMPTLY ACCEPT YOUR AWARD AS MOST GRANTS AND AWARDS HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE of May 1st, 2015.

All students that met the priority date for submitting their FAFSA should be either packaged or at least have a financial aid estimate available to them. If you are interested in receiving any need based aid, it is imperative that you promptly submit your FAFSA.
