Greetings from the Art Department at East Texas A&M University!


We hope this email finds you well and you’re having a wonderful spring.

The Art Department at ETAMU invites you to participate in this year’s Art Day on Friday, April 4th!


Art Day will feature workshops in the morning and afternoon led by our amazing faculty members who specialize in different media including ceramics, sculpture, visual communication  and photography! The workshops will take place from 9:00-3:00PM and a pizza  lunch will be provided.


If you know a local 9-12th grade art student who is curious and wants more opportunities to make art, come spend the day with us on the Commerce campus to learn more about a specific creative process!


If you are a high school teacher, you can register your high school students for this event free of charge, by emailing us at art at tamuc.edu<mailto:art at tamuc.edu> with the following information:

•Teacher’s name

•School/district

•Teacher’s email and phone number

•Name of each student and their selection of workshop (one in the morning and one in the afternoon).



Please find in the document attached info about each workshop and the schedule.

Registration is limited with class enrollment caps, so we will be in touch to confirm workshop placements.
