[Art-HighSchoolTeachers] Save the Dates for Art Day 2015, Ink! A Letterpress Screen Printing Workshop and the Art Educators Workshop 2016

Attached is a poster with the dates for three upcoming events to be held by Texas A&M University-Commerce Art Department.
The first event is Art Day, which will be held October 24th on the main campus at TAMUC. This event is for high school students and transfer students. Students will attend workshops conducted by the art faculty. Seniors and transfer students can submit a portfolio of their work for the Art Portfolio Scholarship Contest.

Participants will have their portfolio reviewed by members of the art faculty. You will automatically be entered into the portfolio scholarship contest. You do not have to participate in the review to enter your portfolio for the scholarship contest. There will be a form at registration to fill out and attach to the back of each piece of work in your portfolio. Portfolio Scholarship Contest is open to high school seniors and transfer art students.

*Include in your portfolio 6-8 of your best works. Works on paper can be matted (not required) but no frames. Sculpture and 3-D work can be digitally submitted.

Registration will begin later this week. We are looking forward to visiting with teachers, parents and students.
