[AreaMusicTeachers] Spring Lion's Share Newsletter for Elementary Music Specialists

[Darla Meek]

Dear Elementary Music Specialists,

I don’t know about you, but I am looking forward to spring…not only so we can emerge from heaps of blankets and wool socks, but also because of some exciting events coming up!

Click on the link below to find the Spring issue of The Lion’s Share—a newsletter for elementary music teachers. It includes:

• Information about the third Graduate Music Education Cohort beginning this June. Earn your Master’s degree in four summers. Classes will be blended (face-to-face and virtual) with an entirely online option!

• An announcement about a Graduate Teaching Assistant position. We are seeking a fabulous elementary specialist to work with us full time.

• Our spring workshop, Mindful Movement, with Ashley Bouras and Lisa Beyer on March 13th. (There is even a special BONUS workshop afterward!)

• Information for becoming a Cooperating Teacher for a music education resident

• A springtime lesson idea for your classroom perfect for Earth Day.
